Arthingworth is a small village and civil parish in West Northamptonshire. The village is located about 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Market Harborough and 9 miles (14.5 km) east of Kettering.
The village name probably means 'enclosure connected with Earn(a)'. The earliest known record of Arthingworth is from the Domesday Book of 1086, where it is listed as "Erthingworde". The village was owned by William the Conqueror at the time of the Domesday Survey.
Arthingworth is a predominantly agricultural village, with a number of farms in the surrounding area. The village also has a small number of shops and businesses, including a pub, a post office, and a village hall.
