Blakesley is a village in West Northamptonshire, about 5 miles (8 km) west of Towcester. It is situated on a hilltop, overlooking the surrounding countryside. The village has a population of just under 500 people.
Blakesley has a long history, dating back to at least the 11th century. The village is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086. Blakesley was once the home of Blakesley Hall, a 13th-century manor house. The hall was demolished in 1957-58, but the site is now occupied by a new housing development.
