The village of Brampton Ash is located in the north-west of Northamptonshire, on the border with Leicestershire. It is a small village with a population of around 200 people.
The village is named after the broom and ash trees that were once abundant in the area. There is evidence of human settlement in Brampton Ash dating back to the Iron Age, and the village is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086.
