Brixworth is a large village and civil parish in West Northamptonshire. It is situated about 5 miles (8 km) north of Northampton next to the A508 road, which now by-passes the village. It is about 8 miles (13 km) south of Market Harborough.
Brixworth is a well-preserved village with a number of historic buildings, including the 7th-century All Saints Church, which is one of the finest examples of Anglo-Saxon architecture in England. The village also has a number of other historic buildings, including the 16th-century Market Cross, the 17th-century Brixworth Hall, and the 18th-century Old School House.
