
Byfield is a village and civil parish in West Northamptonshire, situated in the folds of the northern edge of the Cotswolds, in the south-western corner of Northamptonshire, some four miles east of the intersection with the boundaries of Oxfordshire and Warwickshire.
Byfield also lies almost equidistant between Daventry to the north and Banbury to the south along the A361 road. Because of its geographic position, the residents of Byfield look to both Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire for many of their local services needs.
Today, Byfield is a popular tourist destination, particularly for walkers and cyclists. The village is also a popular place to live, with a good range of amenities and a strong community spirit.
